Terms of Use

These terms govern access to Nance County Criminal History. Visiting a page, using a search feature, or reading the content constitutes agreement to these conditions. Anyone who does not accept them should stop using the website.

NO FCRA USE. This private site is not affiliated with government and is not a consumer reporting agency. Neither it nor its advertising partners provides a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other FCRA-regulated decisions.

1. What This Website Is

Nance County Criminal History is an independent reference resource. It does not hold official records, perform official background checks, retrieve a file, or submit paperwork. Its role is to identify Nance County Sheriff, the courts, Nebraska State Patrol, the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry, and relevant outside tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Visitors agree not to misuse the site or its links.

  • Do not break a law or violate another person's rights
  • Do not harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access
  • Do not use information for an FCRA-regulated purpose
  • Do not falsely imply that site content is an official or certified record

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked source must not be used to threaten, stalk, harass, intimidate, or discriminate. Nebraska registry information exists for safety awareness. Retaliation, threats, or vandalism directed at a registrant, family, or associated person may be criminal.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

The site does not prepare background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Data from the site or linked tools may not be used for credit, work, rental, insurance, or another purpose governed by the FCRA. A legally required official check must be obtained through Nebraska State Patrol or an appropriate FCRA-compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

General explanations of Nance County records are not legal advice. Only a licensed Nebraska lawyer can advise how a warrant, charge, conviction, set-aside, or sealing rule applies to specific facts.

6. No Warranties

The website and its content are supplied “as is.” Completeness, accuracy, availability, fitness for a purpose, and uninterrupted access are not guaranteed. Criminal records and office procedures change, so the originating agency must confirm any fact that matters.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to public agencies, courts, legal resources, and outside search companies. Those destinations control their content, privacy practices, prices, and uptime. Use of an outside service is subject to that service's own terms.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, site text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Nance County Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, modified, distributed, or used to create another work without permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators are not liable for loss arising from use of the website, reliance on its content, or use of a linked service.

10. Indemnification

A visitor agrees to protect and hold the site harmless from claims, demands, costs, and legal actions arising from that visitor's misuse of the service or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Nebraska law governs these terms. A dispute related to website use must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Nebraska.

12. Changes to These Terms

The terms may be revised. A replacement takes effect when it is posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or blocked at any time when needed to operate or protect the service.

14. Severability

If one term is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. The affected provision is adjusted only as far as necessary.

15. Questions

Questions about these conditions may be directed through the Contact page.
